VISION MONDAY LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2022 - BRANDING

THE BRIEF

Vision Monday* (VM) is the ophthalmic industry’s go-to source for news and analysis, both online and in print. Each year, VM hosts the “Vision Monday Leadership Summit,” a high-profile event that brings industry leaders together to explore current optical trends and the future of vision care.

In 2022, I was asked to create the brand identity for the VM Summit. This included the creation of a logo, as well as promotional materials such as event proposals, sponsorship reports, e-blasts, guest passes, and a notebook, along with a wide range of other trade show collateral and signage.

THE SOLUTION

As I explored different ideas, I was inspired by the concept of vision as both literal sight and a metaphor for clarity, focus, and the ability to perceive new opportunities.

The digital eye represented sparking new ideas and making connections, and its futuristic quality tied into the themes of recalibration and using technology to innovate and navigate a rapidly evolving world.

*Vision Monday reaches over 20,000 retail buyers in print, and its annual Summit draws several hundred industry professionals.
